The eyes are of a musician friend Danny who has been working hard recording new albums and he is now able to stop and have some TIME OUT .

I have been slaving away over a hot computer and used my digital scrapbooking tools and came up with some lurveeeee xx

this one I took a part off of it and made a card for a friend...


and the card with ribbon,flower and crystal hearts...




my mum and dad ,this says it all really ....



not for valentines day but a reminder to smile through it all.......

I made this card using Digital Scrapbook Artist,It is my first time doing something like this and really enjoyed it. Bright cards

I had 2 birthday cards to make for next week and I thought that in these dull wintry times they needed to be bright and cheery .First card club penguin puffles ,a craze at the mo with some of my nephews and is coloured in by my 10 yr old nephew -did`nt he do well?
Next is for a rather tomboyish neice who`ll be 7- hope its not too girlish for her !
Just hope now the weather brightens up so I can get out to visit them ......at the mo its floods and gales.

I have been very industrious today and made 12 cards for next year-2 of which are in post for 2 birthdays on CBC on same day. I am very pleased with myself and hope to continue surpising myself next year !

This lovely jolly couple are my mum and dad who always made Christmas special for us -no matter what age .....I miss them terribly but have lovely special memories to treasure xxx

My nephew David was 10 on Christmas day -he loves pirates so made a quick pirate card .

Birthday cards for my sister

It was my sister Tricia`s birthday last week and my 2 nephews made their mum a card each.
David [9]  made this all by himself,said it was beads `cos mums into beads - he said "its the first time that I`ve let him make a card without being helped"

Bruce [18] wanted to decoupage his like cards I make ,he said , he did all the cutting and sticking down himself

Pyramid Birthday card

I made this pyramid card for a male friend,Danny  http://www.dannysumbler.com/who is a wonderfull musician and songwritter..I used lets rock printable download from http://www.craftsuprint.com/ and rock out freebie backing papers from http://elementalpixie.blogspot.com/ . Added piano brads and appropriate words .........I also posted him a keyring which was inked with alcohal inks and a thistle stamp and added a little geetar to it ....

Wind and Rain

My crafty stuff has had to be rescued from the caravan as Mother nature has been very very naughty and broken the skylight and door ,unbeknown to us for a few days so most of mystuff is ok but things not put away properly or could`nt be put away have been ruined ......
this is the room were we kept our 2 fridges and freezer along with the dogs bed so now its going to be the craft room and the fridges are seperated in various rooms along with the dog....need to sort it out first but managed to conjure up a few cards inbetween

This card was pre-printed and I stamped image which I have had for a couple of years and got from  http://shop.paperartsy.co.uk/love--kisses-1-1944-p.asp with stazon and used sakura pens to colour it in

then added sticky backed swirls and gems to complete

This card was a birthday card for Tracy at CBC forum and the stamp is from the artistic stamper,and is a Design Essentials Clarice Cliff Style-the original designs by Claire Mackaness. Coloured with sakura pens ,some fancy fibres and gems

Next card was for a challenge and Caroles birthday on CBC also for another challenge depicting a summer theme from caroline , here I have highlighted the embroidered flowers down the side with sakura pens and added sunflower ribbon and a topper

Next card was a recipe challenge from CBC must be pink (well mainly anyway!)2 different pieces of paper,1 button and two different pieces of ribbon/fibre/cord. The papers I got free from SIMPLY CARDS & PAPERCRAFT and the red dots a sakura soufle pen,button and ribbon from my stash

18th Birthday cards

It was my nephews 18th the other day and my sis and I had planned a meal out and the weekend away to our caravan but we both came down with the cold and its taking its time leaving[cheeky thing] so we could`nt treat the birthday boy ......

Got this 18 from http://www.craftsuprint.com/default.cfm for the ROBO and cut it out in vellum ,first time I have used robo in ages and found it exciting again so promised myself to use robo more often!


Also bought this decoupage bottle shaped one which I cut out and my sister put together -she highlighted the writing and added his birthdate with silver Sakura pen
